Arduino

Arduino was a great process to learn. The amount of examples Arduino had within the program helped me figure out the program writing. My construction process was the hardest part. The lamp was a project I did with kids from the Brooklyn workshop last semester. We used small tea lights and glow sticks to make them light up, so I thought I would take that project and add a program to it. The construction of the circuit was definitely the hardest part. The ATTiny, is really tiny! So soldering was definitely a challenge. I also, accidentally put all of the positive connections together instead of the negatives. So, when I first turned it on, the circuit was complete, but the pathways were off and the program didn’t show. With help from Victoria, I was able to get the pathways figured out. Over all this project was great. I could see myself making an instillation of these lamps with Arduino programming.

Here are a few videos of the lamps on and running, if you listen closely you can here the buzzing of the motor.
